This is the playbook for token launches, project marketing, and KOL operators who need to ship video at the cadence of a 24/7 attention market without staffing a video team.
If you also run AI/SaaS content, the AI / SaaS marketer playbook is your sister doc. Same product, different rhythm.
What "good" looks like in Web3 short-form
- 5–10+ pieces per day per asset during the launch / hype window.
- Multi-account distribution — KOL personal brand + project handle + meme account.
- Format mix that survives the algorithm: Meme Reaction for virality, Text Story for hot takes, Image Carousel for tokenomics breakdowns, Clip Montage for vibe / lifestyle.
- Same narrative, 5 angles per day — partnership, technology, vibe, community, contrarian take.
- Captions with UTM-tagged or chain-tracked links to attribute downstream wallet creates / mints / volume.
Prolifik is built for that rhythm — read on.
Setup
1. One brand per asset, not one brand for everything
Even if you're the same person operating three plays, add three brands in /brand:
- Personal brand (your name)
- The project / token brand (token site URL)
- A satellite meme / community brand if you run one
Each gets its own:
- Color palette / logo (Brand Intelligence pulls these automatically).
- Voice rules — Do's/Don'ts.
- Posting schedule (different timezones if your audiences are different).
- Connected social accounts (X is not in the integration list; for X, use the Download button + your X automation tool).
Crypto X strategy: Prolifik renders the asset; your X tool of choice posts it. Bulk download from the Library handles this fast.
2. Tone & Voice rules that work for crypto
These ship as good defaults — adjust per project:
Do's (up to 10)
- Use natural, casual conversational tone — not corporate
- Lead with a specific number, name, or contrarian claim
- Reference the asset / token / project ticker explicitly when relevant
- Use community-native language (e.g., "degens," "ngmi," "gm") when the audience expects it
- Treat every piece as if it could be the first one a viewer sees
Don'ts (up to 10)
- Never give explicit financial advice or price predictions
- Never use the word "guarantee"
- Avoid corporate-PR language ("thrilled to announce", "delighted")
- No false claims about audits, partnerships, or team backgrounds
- No screenshots of unreleased UI without disclosure
3. Content Angles for a launch
Configure 5 angles on the project brand. Examples:
- Why this token is different — differentiation
- Tokenomics in 30 seconds — education
- Receipts: who's already in — social proof
- Contrarian take on $X — heat
- Behind the build — founder-led
Each angle becomes a slot the AI can write into. Run an automation per angle weekly.
Daily and weekly cadence
Daily (launch week)
| Slot | Format | Angle |
|---|---|---|
| 09:00 local | Image Carousel | Tokenomics / education |
| 13:30 local | Meme Reaction | Heat / contrarian |
| 19:00 local | Text Story | Hot take / opinion |
| 21:00 local | Clip Montage | Vibe / lifestyle |
Configure these as per-brand slots on /brand/{your-token-brand} → Posting schedule.
Weekly (post-launch sustaining)
- Monday — 250-piece Image Carousel automation across all 5 angles (fills the calendar for 1–2 weeks of carousel content).
- Wednesday — 100-piece Meme Reaction automation on this week's heat (news, partner moves, competitor drama).
- Friday — 100-piece Text Story automation on opinion / hot takes.
- Daily — manual creates from the Content tab when something breaks (announcement, AMA recap, market move).
Scale these automations to fit Pro tier's 500/month budget — and Pulse + your Do's/Don'ts will reject the bottom 30% before publish.
The Pulse session for crypto
Run Pulse twice daily during a launch window — once in the morning to clear overnight automations, once in the evening for the day's hot takes.
Reject aggressively. The cost of skipping is zero credits. The cost of publishing a mediocre piece is a community member's attention you'll never get back.
Lean toward approving:
- Pieces with a specific number, name, or claim.
- Pieces where the first 1.5 seconds is a strong hook.
- Pieces that contradict consensus thinking on your asset.
Reject:
- Generic "we're excited" energy.
- Anything that reads like a deck.
- Pieces with weak hooks even if the body is good.
Distribution beyond the four native platforms
Prolifik publishes natively to Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. For the platforms that matter most in crypto:
- X (Twitter) — bulk-download approved pieces from the Library and feed your X scheduler. Many KOLs run 8–12 X posts/day this way.
- Telegram — download MP4, paste into your Telegram channel/group bot.
- Farcaster / Lens — download MP4, post via your tool of choice.
- Discord — pin the Carousel format pieces to your Announcements channel.
The Library's Bulk download as zip feature is the cheat code for cross-posting at volume.
Attribution
Prolifik measures publishing throughput. Wallet-level attribution lives in your tools:
- Add UTM-tagged links to script CTAs (
?utm_source=ig&utm_campaign=launch_week). - For on-chain attribution, route every link through a tracker (Dune dashboard, custom UTM-aware lander) that maps clicks → wallet creates → mints.
- The Pulse "Top 10 posts" surface shows which pieces drive Instagram views; cross-reference with your downstream tracker for the full picture.
Compliance
If you operate in regulated jurisdictions (US, EU MiCA, UK FCA), bake compliance into your Tone & Voice rules:
- Add Don'ts for "financial advice", "guaranteed", "promise", "100x".
- Add Do's like "include the disclosure phrase X every piece that mentions returns".
- Run a final manual scan in Pulse on hot-take pieces — Prolifik produces output, but compliance review is yours.
Common pitfalls
- Using one brand for personal + project. Confuses the AI on voice and customer segments. Always split.
- Not connecting Instagram as a business / creator profile. Performance analytics will be blank.
- Approving everything in Pulse. Skip ratio of 30–40% is healthy in crypto; below that, your Do's/Don'ts probably need work.
- Treating Pro's 500/mo as a floor. Many KOLs publish far fewer approved pieces — the 500 cap is on rendered pieces, and you'll skip 30–40%.
A typical Pro-tier launch month (real-world)
- Brand workspace: 3 brands (personal, project, satellite meme).
- Total rendered: ~950 pieces.
- Approved in Pulse: ~620.
- Posted across IG/TT/YT: ~520 (after platform-side filtering).
- Cross-posted to X via bulk download: another ~320.
- Time on Prolifik per day: ~15 minutes Pulse + ~5 minutes Calendar review.
That's a content operation that would otherwise need 2–3 editors. On Pro it's €149/mo.
