Quickstart: Create Your First AI Video in 5 Minutes

You will go from zero to a posted video in roughly five minutes. The fast path is: add a brand, connect a social account, generate one piece, approve it in Pulse, schedule it.

Skip ahead: if you already have a brand and connected accounts, jump to step 3.

1. Add a brand

1. Open app.getprolifik.com/brand.
2. Click Add Brand.
3. Paste your website URL.

Prolifik reads your homepage and auto-extracts your brand identity — colors, tone of voice, product offering, customer segments, and competitors. This becomes the source of truth for every video that brand produces. You can edit any field, and you can re-run the analysis later with Re-analyze if your site changes significantly.

If you run multiple projects, repeat for each. We've seen single workspaces with three or more brands (e.g., a project token, a personal brand, and a B2B SaaS) run side by side.

2. Connect at least one social account

Open Settings → Social media accounts (or /settings).

Connect any of the three:

Connecting once is enough — Prolifik handles the publishing handshake on every scheduled slot. Reconnect any account if it shows a yellow notice on the Analytics page (most often Instagram, when read-only insights need a permission top-up).

3. Generate your first piece

You can generate manually (one at a time, full control over the prompt) or via an automation (25 to 1,000 pieces from one brief). Manual is the right way to start.

1. Open app.getprolifik.com/content/carousel.
2. Pick a format from the top tabs:

- Image Carousel — best to start with, gets the most saves. - Text Story — fastest, no assets needed. - Meme Reaction — viral templates with an avatar. - Clip Montage — cinematic b-roll auto-fill. - Video Hook & Demo — reaction-style hook into a product demo.

1. Decide whether to mention your brand name (Yes/No).
2. For Image Carousel, optionally pick a theme or upload your own images. For all other formats, choose AI writes it or Type my own.
3. In Prompt, type what the video should be about. One line is fine, e.g. "5 things first-time founders get wrong about pricing".
4. Click Generate.

The piece renders in the background. Status flow: Rendering → Ready (and lands in your Library). If you'd rather see one already-rendered take from the trending bank, switch to the Remix tab and click Remix this on any trending example.

4. Approve it in Pulse

Open app.getprolifik.com/pulse.

You'll see one card at a time. Use the keyboard:

• → approve
• ← skip
• M mute / unmute

You can also Edit the script before approving, or click Preferences to filter the queue (e.g., only Image Carousels for Brand X).

Skipped videos do not count against your monthly credit cap. This is the difference between Prolifik and most AI video tools — review is part of the loop, not a punishment.

5. Schedule it

Approved pieces go to your Content Calendar automatically. By default they fill the next available slot for that brand using the slots you've configured.

To check or adjust:

1. Open app.getprolifik.com/calendar.
2. Click any day to see slots for that day.
3. Drag a piece to a different day if needed, or click Schedule new post for an ad-hoc slot.

Prolifik runs publishing automatically. You'll see status flip from SCHEDULED → POSTED (or FAILED, in which case the calendar surfaces a retry).

You're live
