Prolifik publishes natively to three platforms. Connect once per workspace from Settings → Social media accounts.
| Platform | Description in-app | What posts |
|---|---|---|
| Post Reels and Stories | Reels (and Stories where supported) | |
| YouTube | Upload Shorts and videos | Shorts (vertical 9:16) |
| TikTok | Publish short-form videos | Vertical short-form video |
| If you connected before insights support shipped (Instagram), reconnect to grant the additional read-only insights scope. Posting continues to work either way; only the Performance dashboard requires the upgrade.
Multi-account / multi-brand
Each brand in your workspace can connect its own set of social accounts. So one workspace can have:
- Brand A — Instagram + TikTok + YouTube (3 connections).
- Brand B — Instagram + TikTok only (2 connections).
The Home dashboard tile Connected Platforms shows the workspace-wide total (e.g. 18 social accounts across multiple brands).
When a piece is approved, Prolifik publishes to all connected platforms for that piece's brand at the chosen slot.
Posting behavior
- Schedule precision — published at the slot's local time within ~1 minute typical drift, depending on platform API responsiveness.
- Captions — generated alongside the script; you can edit before approval (in Pulse → Edit).
- Hashtags — included in the caption per format conventions; editable.
- Cover frame — for Reels / Shorts, pulled from the optimal frame automatically; manual override coming.
- Cross-posting — automatic to all connected platforms for the brand. To post to only one, disconnect the others or use Schedule new post with a single platform target.
What integrations are not on this list
We don't currently support: X (Twitter), Facebook Pages, Pinterest, Threads, or Snapchat as publishing targets. You can always Download the rendered MP4 and post manually anywhere.
For X specifically: many of our crypto/Web3 customers use Prolifik to render the asset and then post it through their X automation tool of choice (e.g., Hypefury, Typefully, or a custom workflow). The Library's bulk download is built for this.
Troubleshooting
- A post shows
FAILED→ click into the post; the error reason names the platform. The most common cause is a token expired on that platform — reconnect. - A post shows
PARTIAL→ it succeeded on at least one platform but failed on another. Reconnect the failing platform; the failed leg auto-retries. - Instagram analytics shows zero → the account needs to be a business or creator profile. Personal Instagram accounts can't expose insights via the API.
- YouTube uploads succeed but show "private" → first-time YouTube connections sometimes default to private; flip the default in the YouTube card.
